When we Are Closed
In a genuine emergency, you should call 999. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute as an emergency.
Out of Hours Cover (OOH)
OOH is provided by the East of England Ambulance Service (EEAS) NHS Trust Out-of-Hours Service (Norfolk).
The out-of-hours service can be contacted by telephoning 111.
You will be asked for your name and telephone number by the Operator and your call will be triaged. A Doctor will call you back to ask about symptoms after which he will either give you advice or ask you to come and see him at the emergency surgery.
If your call is not an emergency please make an appointment in the normal way on the next working day.
In addition, your local pharmacists are a good source of assistance for minor illness.
